AOL Mail Verizon Settings
AOL offers an e-mail service --- AOL Mail --- through its own proprietary for its paid customers. AOL Mail is a division of Verizon communications that provides a delightful and safe e-mail experience for its customers. On this web page, we’ll see the AOL Mail Verizon settings.
Generally, AOL Mail uses IMAP as the incoming server to receive e-mails on e-mail clients. The AOL Verizon Mail settings are provided below.
Incoming mail server
- Account type: IMAP
- Server address: imap.aol.com
- Port: 993
- SSL: Yes, required
Outgoing mail server
- Account type: SMTP
- Server address: smtp.verizon.net
- Port: 465
- SSL: Yes, required

Configuring Account in iOS Mail
- Step 1 :On your iPhone, open the Settings application.
- Step 2 :Tap Mail > Accounts > Add Account > AOL.Now, enter your name, account address, and password.
- Step 3 :After entering your details, tap Next.
- Step 4 :Configure your account by following the instructions displayed on the screen.
Configuring Account in Windows Live Mail
- Step 1 :Open the Windows Live Mail application on your computer.
- Step 2 :Click the Accounts tab.
- Step 3 :Select the E-mail option.
- Step 4 :Now, the Add your e-mail accounts dialog box will open.
- Step 5 :Enter your account’s e-mail address and password in the corresponding fields.
- Step 6 :Make sure to enter the display name correctly.
- Step 7 :After entering your account details in the respective fields, click the Next
- Step 8 :Now, choose the IMAP option from the Server type drop-down menu.
- Step 9 :Enter the AOL Mail’s IMAP server address and the port number in the given field.
- Step 10 :Make sure to select the Requires authentication option.
- Step 11 :Click the Next button followed by Finish.
- Step 12 :Once your account has been configured, send a test mail.
