METHOD 1: MAIL SYNC

To make sure the Mail app starts working on your iPad device, you need to have a look at the following troubleshooting steps.

  • Step 1 :Make sure the Mail app is set with the syncing option.
  • Step 2 :Tap or select the Settings icon on your iPad device.
  • Step 3 :Select the option Passwords & Accounts .
  • Step 4 :Tap the slider for the Mail option to enable the sync.

METHOD 2: INTERNET OPTION

One of the reasons why the Mail App not working on iPad is the Internet connection. Check and make sure that you have a working Internet connection on your iPad.

  • Step 1 :Tap the Settings icon on your iPad device.
  • Step 2 :Select the WiFi option and see if the iPad is connected to your wireless network.
  • Step 3 :Make sure the Airplane mode is disabled as well.

METHOD 3: RESTART

  • Step 1 :You have to pressand hold the Power button on the iPad.
  • Step 2 :You will now see a slider option to shut down.Tap and slide the option to shut down the iPad device.
  • Step 3 :Now,you have to press and hold the Power button and the iPad will start again.

METHOD 4: RESET NETWORK SETTINGS

  • Step 1 :Close all the unwanted applications that are open on your iPad.
  • Step 2 :If you are using the cellular data, make sure you have the option enabled on your iPad device under the Settings .
  • Step 3 :Tap the Settings option, select General . Now you have to select Reset and finally, you have to tap the option Reset Network Settings .

METHOD 5: REMOVE AND ADD ACCOUNT

If none of the above methods could fix the Mail App not working on iPad, you can delete your account from the Mail app and then add it back. Once you have removed your email account from the Mail app, add your account again using the below steps.

  • Step 1 :Tap the Settings icon on your iPad device.
  • Step 2 :Select Accounts & Passwords .
  • Step 3 :Tap the Add Account option, then select the email service provider from the list or tap the Other option at the bottom.
  • Step 4 :Select the option Add Mail Account and enter the information for the Incoming mail server and the Outgoing mail server.
