User name and password: Your Roadrunner account’s email address and password.
The following guidelines explain how to configure your Roadrunner email account in an email client.
Manual Method:
- Step 1:First, open the email client on your computer.
- Step 2:Click the My Account option followed by Add Account.
- Step 3:Now, enter your Roadrunner account’s email address in the given field.
- Step 4:Make sure to enter the “@_____.rr.com” domain name at the end of your email address.
- Step 5:Now, enter your account’s password.
- Step 6:Make sure to de-select the Automatically configure account option.
- Step 7:Click thev Next button.
- Step 8:Now, navigate to the General Settings option.
- Step 9:Verify the information in the General Settings fields and click OK.
- Step 10:Click Incoming Server > POP mail server.
- Step 11:Now, in the given fields, enter the POP3 server information correctly.
- Step 12:Make sure to enter your account’s username and password correctly.
- Step 13:If the Use Secure server and Verify certificate options are enabled, disable them and click OK.
- Step 14:Now, click on the Outgoing Server option.
- Step 15:Enter the SMTP server address and port number in the given fields.
- Step 16:De-select the Use Secure server and Verify certificate options.
- Step 17:In the Port number field, type the 25 value.
- Step 18:Click OK > Other Settings.
- Step 19:If required, choose the time period for retaining the message on your phone and click the OK button.
- Step 20:Now, click OK again.
